Our Mission
Growing in faith, serving our neighbors, and living for God's glory
We seek to glorify God by growing in the truth and grace of Jesus Christ, serving the greater New Haven community and beyond, and trusting in the grace and power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Total Christ Spirituality
Our hope is in Christ alone
We want our life together to be centered on Christ - his work, not ours, as the basis of our relationship to God and one another. Our hope is to follow Jesus with a whole-church, whole-life faith.

The Five Marks
How we try to live and worship together
Gospel-Centered
The gospel keeps us humble because salvation is a gift, and confident because Christ has done the saving work for us. Everything we do starts there.
Missional
God sends his people into the world, so we try to be open, welcoming, and purposeful in showing our neighbors who Jesus is.
Confessional
We trust the Bible and the historic Westminster Standards as a faithful summary of what we believe. They help us stay rooted in God's Word.
Sacramental
We want our worship to be shaped by the gospel, centered on Christ, and expressed with reverence and joy, including weekly communion.
Communal
Following Jesus means belonging to his church. We aim to live with humility, care, and encouragement for one another.
What We Believe
The doctrines at the heart of who we are
We believe the Bible is God's true and trustworthy Word, speaking clearly and powerfully to every part of our lives. We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Christ's death and resurrection reconcile us to God, and nothing we do can earn or add to that gift. We believe God is sovereign over all creation and history, and that Christ will one day make all things new.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in believers, helps us grow, and equips us to serve in God's kingdom. We believe the church is Christ's body, called to make disciples, love one another, and show the world what it means to follow Jesus. We believe we are called to pursue holiness, live out the gospel in community, and join God's mission in the world.
We believe believers will spend eternity in God's presence in the new heavens and new earth, and that Christ will return in glory to complete God's kingdom. Until that day, we are committed to worshiping God, growing in faith, and extending God's love and justice to our community and the world.

Session of Elders
Elders watch diligently over the flock, exercising government and care, visiting the sick, comforting the mourner, and setting a worthy example through their zeal to make disciples.
Women's Leadership Board
The WLB assists elders and pastors in making disciples through life-on-life discipleship, and plans activities for the women of the church.
